This privacy policy applies specifically to the Prospio Connector Chrome extension. It explains exactly what data the extension collects, why it collects it, how long it is kept, and how you stay in control at all times.
The Prospio Connector extension is built and operated by Prospio LLC as part of the Prospio Intelligence service. When this policy refers to "Prospio", "we", or "us", it means Prospio LLC. For any privacy-related questions, reach us at support@prospio.com.
When you install the Prospio extension and enable sharing, the extension reads the following information from your browser and sends it securely to Prospio:

The extension does not read the content of LinkedIn pages, does not access any other websites, and does not collect any data outside of what is listed above.
The data collected by the extension is used exclusively to power your Prospio experience. Specifically, it allows Prospio to interact with LinkedIn on your behalf — retrieving network data, connection information, and engagement signals — so that you can explore and analyze your own LinkedIn network through Prospio's tools.
All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Your LinkedIn session token is treated as a sensitive credential and is stored securely, with access restricted to the systems that need it to perform requests on your behalf.
Data collected by the extension is stored in Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States (us-east-1 region). AWS acts as our cloud infrastructure sub-processor and does not access your data for any purpose outside of providing storage and compute to Prospio.
Sharing is always opt-in. The extension does not collect or transmit anything until you explicitly enable sharing using the toggle inside the extension popup. You can disable sharing at any time by toggling it off — collection stops immediately.
Uninstalling the extension also stops all collection immediately.
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@prospio.com. We will delete all stored data associated with your account within 30 days of receiving your request.
Data collected by the extension is retained for as long as your Prospio service is active. If you stop using Prospio — whether by disabling sharing, uninstalling the extension, or ending your service — your data is automatically deleted after 12 months of inactivity.
If your service with Prospio ends, you can also request immediate deletion at any time. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.
Prospio Connector's use of information received from Google Chrome APIs and from LinkedIn adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer user data to third parties other than our cloud infrastructure sub-processor (AWS) for the purpose of operating the Prospio Connector service. We do not use user data for serving advertisements, and we do not allow humans to read user data unless (a) you have given affirmative consent, (b) it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, or (c) it is required by applicable law.
The extension stores a small amount of data locally in your browser using Chrome's extension storage. This includes your sharing preference (on/off), your LinkedIn profile URL once identified, and a timestamp of the last time data was sent. This data never leaves your browser except as part of the normal data transmission described in Section 2.
You can clear this local data at any time by clicking the reset option inside the extension, or by uninstalling the extension entirely.
If we make material changes to this policy — particularly to what data is collected or how it is used — we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify active users directly.
Continued use of the extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
